Week beginning 25th January
Hello again Year 5 and welcome to week 4 of your remote learning.
We hope that you and your families are all well and that you had a fun weekend playing in the snow.
Thank you to all of you who have been emailing us your work daily. It has been lovely to see how hard you have all been working whilst at home and we enjoy hearing from you. Please keep up the good work and continue to send us your work to year5work@hamstead-jun.sandwell.sch.uk
Remember - we have a times tables competition on TTRockstars taking place which will end at 3:30pm on Friday afternoon, At the moment, 5FC is in the lead but that could change as 5MH are not far behind! Keep going on and we shall announce the winning class next week!
We hope you have a lovely week and continue to enjoy the snow. (If you make any snowmen, send us a picture! It will be great to see your creations. You don't have to just send us your work!)

Good morning Year 5,
Thank you to those of you who sent us your snow pictures to share on the website. It's lovely to see you having fun and making the most of the snow whilst we have it. If you haven't sent us a photo but want to, ask a parent to send us a photo with a comment to say it can go on the website and then we shall pop it on with the others.
Well done and thank you to everyone who has sent us their work yesterday. It's great to see that so many of you are making a positive start at the beginning of the week. If you've not already done so, pop over to the video centre where Mrs Clayton has read a new Greek story for us to listen to this week and there's a little video to say hello too!
Have a lovely day. We look forward to receiving your emails later.
From Mrs Clayton and Miss Prescott.
