A great game of football to watch, played  in very muddy conditions. Well done to the team for battling to win against a good team from Eaton Valley. Two first half goals from Leo gave HJS a 2-0 lead at half time. The second half saw our opponents taking a few more risks and leaving players up the field and passing to them more directly, resulting in a comeback that made the score 2-2. They continued to play like this, but luckily for HJS this meant that when we attacked we had more space to play in. Two goals in quick succession from Jonah looked to have settled the match, only for our opponents to pull a goal back with a few minutes to play. The team played well to ensure that Eaton Valley had no further opportunities, resulting in a third win in a row. The outdoor season has a break now until the lighter nights return.
