Dear Parents/Carers,
The end of the academic year is fast approaching and we have been busy making plans ready for September.
Unfortunately, Mrs Mercer will be leaving us at the end of term. She has been a valuable member of staff since she joined us as a newly qualified teacher back in 2011. We would like to thank her for all she has contributed to HJS and wish her all the very best in her new role. Mrs Jackson and Miss Ellis, who have worked with us during the last 12 months, will also be leaving us and again we would like to wish them well for the future.
We are pleased to inform you that we have appointed Miss Haywood as one of our Year 4 teaching staff ready for September. Miss Haywood has been working within school for the last 12 months.
Children will get the opportunity to meet their new class teacher, in their new classrooms, during the morning of Tuesday 19th July. The classes will be taught by the following members of staff:
Year 3:
3FC Mrs Clayton
3JB Mrs Bartholomew
Year 4:
4CB Mr Baines (current 3FC)
4BH Miss Haywood (current 3JT)
Year 5:
5JC Mrs Curley (current 4CB)
5CP Miss Prescott (current 4JB) Year 6: 6SK/SH Mrs Kaur (Mon and Fri); Mrs Hinkley (Tues, Wed and Thurs) – current 5MH
6MH Mr Hiley – current 5JC
Mrs Tudor will be supporting the teaching of Year 3, 4 and 6 throughout the week.
