Dear Parents/Carers,
Thank you to all of those parents who attended their recent Parents Consultation meeting. You would have already received the Mid-term report in preparation for the meeting. We feel this is such an important part of building the home-school partnership so that we can support your child’s learning. We hope that you found the conversation with class teachers productive and it allowed you to understand both your child’s current attainment and progress, but also offered you ideas about targets and ways to support moving forward.
We will be sending out a short survey to get some feedback on the Parents Consultation. We would really appreciate your views so that we can make the process as purposeful as possible. Ideally, we would have liked to have offered face-to-face meetings and this is something that we aim to get back to for the summer term.
Now that restrictions have eased, we are aiming to get parents coming back into school where we can. As part of this, and following on from Parents Consultations, we are offering you a chance to come and look at your child’s books. These sessions will take place either at the start or end of the school day. Unfortunately, class teachers will be teaching at the time but it will allow you the chance to see the work that has been produced alongside your child.
We have organised the following times to allow each year group to have a 30min window to look at your child’s work. There will be no need to book at slot. Parents can turn up at any time during their year group slot and enter through the main entrance.
Year 3: Wednesday 30th March 9.00am – 9.30am Year 4: Wednesday 30th March 2.45pm – 3.15pm
Year 5: Thursday 31st March 2.45pm – 3.15pm
Year 6: Wednesday 6th April 2.45pm – 3.15pm
We look forward to seeing many of you there. Unfortunately, these will be the only time slots available for each year group.
