A message to parents from our Board of Governors.

Dear parents and carers,

 

We hope that this finds you all safe and well in these exceptional times. Unfortunately, the opportunity for us as governors to meet with you, our parents and carers, in person will be extremely limited for the foreseeable future.

 

As we begin to take steps to reconnect our school community however, your views on school issues remain incredibly important to us. Just as we have made plans to stay in contact with your children via our newly appointed Class Ambassadors posts, which we hope they have shared with you, we would like to take a moment to introduce a new way for us to stay in contact with you.

 

A new school email address YourViews@hamstead-jun.sandwell.sch.uk has been launched today and we would invite you to use this email address if there is anything that you would like to feedback on or raise with governors about general school issues. Please note that you should continue to contact school in the usual way for issues relating to your own child/children. This address is not for dealing with individual concerns which should always be addressed directly to the school.

 

Periodically, Governors may also ask you, via this news page, for your views on specific school issues and consequently we hope that this will serve as a Virtual Parent’s Forum, something we know so many of you have supported and valued in the past.

 

We look forward to working with you as we reflect on the last 6 months, rebuild HJS and reconnect our whole school community.
